ARCHITECTURAL ARTIFACTS WEDDING, BRITTANY AND MATT

Architectural artIfacts wedding

A wedding long time in the making the one of Brittany and Matt. Chicago was wrapped in the fog and offering unreal views over the river.  There was a little drizzle throughout the whole day but I always encourage the couples to embrace the weather and roll with it. Of course, I couldn’t have done it without a fun wedding party, full of siblings and longtime friends.

We started at the Westin River North and then drove to the Board of Trade on Lasalle Street. My guest second shooter was, again, Joseph Kang, who provided several pictures to this collection.

Next, a quick drive took us to the London House hotel to get a different glance of downtown Chicago.

No better background than Chicago’ flag itself.

Before guests arrived we still had time to explore the venue for some pictures.

THE CEREMONY AT ARCHITECTURAL ARTIFACTS

If you love furniture or you are a passionate vintage collector, there is nothing here that you can’t find. Just name a century, a country and a style and ask for directions. Brittany and Matt wrote me: “From the second we walked into Architectural Artefacts we fell in love with this one of a kind space and no other venue we looked at even compared to it.  It has an industrial/modern feel with tons of exposed brick and a three-story high vaulted ceiling in the North Atrium. Our November 4th wedding could not have been more perfect! We had the ceremony in the North Atrium, cocktail hour in the Ravenswood Room lounge, and dinner/dancing in the South Loft. Such an unforgettable space!”
